I just got some magic pills—Naproxen—for tendonitis in my groin and a gouty toe; one in each leg. After all the box-lifting of the moving in and carrying fence-posts up the hill, I was in a sorry state but now the pain is far, far away and I can keep on with the projects.
Today, I’ll put some shelves up to hold all the sports gear, giving me room to put the bikes back together. I’ve decided that The Split, my yellow commuting bike, is surplus to requirements here so I’ll put cross-country tyres on it for the summer.
Now my legs are better, and the weather is improving, I feel like riding out to see the valleys around us. Wish me luck!
