A robot called

Got an automated phone-call at 7pm to say the River Roche was about to flood in Littleborough, so best get to higher ground.

It *has* been very persistent and there’ll be a few places inundated. Dongria asked me to photograph the flows off the farm but there weren’t any apart from a heavier-than-usual stream down the side of the back track. Warland Gate Road was a different story, with rocks rolling, tarmac lifting and inches of fast flow. I walked up to look at the stables’ dam—no problem—and down to look at the bridge. Dramatic stuff but it’ll pass. Kevin called to say he’s OK.
